The NYPD has disbanded a Brooklyn North narcotics unit and launched a 90-day review after a violent video showed detectives beating Timothy Brown, who they later admitted was mistakenly identified as a drug suspect.

Police say that the incident happened on May 18 of last year.

When workers reviewed their security footage, they discovered video of a man walking up to the door, placing the sticker with the words "Pee on Hamas" written on it, and then leaving.

The suspect in an anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime on the L train was apprehended this weekend for alleged fare evasion in the Bronx.
