A 58-year-old man was fatally struck by a B44 MTA bus during a hit-and-run in Flatbush on Saturday evening, police say. The tragic incident shut down a stretch of Nostrand Avenue just before 8:30pm as the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad worked to uncover what happened during the man's final moments. Emergency personnel were called to a B44 bus stop near 1754 Nostrand Ave. Police say a 911 call for an unconscious man in the road first alerted them to the incident.
