Police say at least nine people were wounded Monday during separate incidents of violence along the West Indian American Day Parade route - before, during and after the festivities. Six people were injured in knife attacks while the remaining three fell victim to gun violence. All of the victims are expected to recover, according to police. The first incident happened just after 5:45am near Utica Avenue and Carroll Street. Investigators say four men - ranging from 20 to 36 years old - suffered stab wounds to the face, neck or chin.
