The new downtown sports venue will offer lessons and programming on seven courts.

The interactive sculpture will be on display in Cadman Plaza until November.

A break dancing competition, an Afrocentric drum party, an egg cream seltzer party, First Saturdays at Brooklyn Museum, and more events in Brooklyn this weekend.

The borough will be hosting a free block party, along with a live conversation about the future of women in hip-hop on Aug. 5, NYC Mayor Eric Adams announced.

The documentary, which tells the story of Bed-Stuy’s pan-African cultural organization The East, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Heading into this game, the Liberty were without starting point guard Courtney Vandersloot, and Marine Johannes took the starting role. Vandersloot sat this game out to rest, her coach said. 

The Quincy Atom is an unconventional townhouse venue with a focus on accessibility and community.

Performances will pay tribute to the 50th Anniversary of hip-hop and include reggae, R&B soul, jazz and funk.

This is the first time in the program's 15-year history that it will be taking place in all five NYC boroughs.
