Tony Lipka

As a graduate of Brooklyn College’s Journalism and Media Studies program and Crown Heights resident, I am focused on documenting culture and the issues affecting my generation. Serving as the Photo Editor for The Brooklyn College Vanguard for two years, I designed weekly covers and oversaw staff photographers. In 2024, I was invited to discuss photojournalism for covering on-campus protests for Reuters and National Media Literacy Week. Today, I work for local publications as a multimedia journalist and photographer, creating a variety of pieces about my community.
