Brooklyn designers showcased their looks in a fashion show in Sunset Park Wednesday, which also became a platform to raise funds for an art gallery that recently burned down.
A Very Brooklyn Fashion Show highlighted the designs of Voodofe, Ahmrii Lorraine, Sigal De Mayo, Scrap and Delicacies, Graffiti Fashion and Miscellania. Fashion.
Net proceeds from ticket sales will support the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, an artist group and gallery as it recovers from a fire that tore through its Red Hook space in September.
The show was sponsored by the BK Style Foundation, Runway the Real Way, Brooklyn Made and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
