A Brooklyn man with a trigger-happy criminal history was arrested in the shooting that left two teens wounded near their Brooklyn high school Tuesday.

A 62-year-old man was riding a B44 bus on Nostrand Avenue near Sterling Place when a man and woman approached him, police said.

A man working as a violence interrupter became a victim of the very crime he was trying to eliminate in his community.

“This is an attempt to get a rent-stabilized tenant out so you can get a market-rate tenant in,” State Sen. Zellnor Myrie said.

There have been no arrests. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Both sides held up signs supporting their arguments, and they argued while police stood by.

Tamika Richards, a mother of six, was only 41 years old.

Dubbed “The Coney,” the structure would feature the first legal gambling facility in the five boroughs.

Officials said that when the woman told the man to stop, he repeatedly punched her in the face.
