A man was sitting with his eyes closed on a New York City subway train when another person came up to him and slashed him in the face Sunday, police said. The slashing happened around 8:40am on a 4 train at the subway station at Utica Avenue and Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, according to the NYPD. A 31-year-old man was sitting on the train with his eyes closed when another man came up to him and slashed him, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
