The NYPD says a 69-year-old man was violently robbed of shampoo and cleaning supplies in Gowanus. It happened around 1:40pm on Sunday in front of 336 Douglass St. According to police, the alleged robber punched the 69-year-old all over his body before snatching the items and running away. The NYPD says the victim suffered lacerations to his head and body. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
