John Gotti’s grandson, Carmine Agnello, was sentenced for committing fraud and using the money to invest in cryptocurrency, the Department of Justice announced Monday. Agnello, 39, was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for receiving $1.1 million in disaster relief loans from the COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. The grandson of John Gotti has been ordered to pay over $1.2 million in restitution to the United States Small Business Administration, serve two years of supervised release and do 100 hours of community service.
