The suspect in an anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime in Brooklyn earlier this year was apprehended this weekend for alleged fare evasion in the Bronx, police reported. According to police sources, 41-year-old Yeshayahuw Carraway of Crotona Park in the Bronx had been wanted since January after he allegedly targeted a man in an abhorrent hate crime aboard a Brooklyn L train.
