City Health Department officials have warned Hasidic medical professionals in Crown Heights that as much as 80 percent of the neighborhood may have already been exposed to COVID-19, multiple sources confirmed to Gothamist.

The invite-only discussion included an "all hands on deck" appeal for Hasidic health care workers to raise awareness about the spread of the virus in their community, which officials said was well underway in Crown Heights, according to two people on the call.
