Officers responded to a 911 call of a shooting around 3:14am in the area of Belt Parkway and Rockaway Parkway. When they arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body. EMS transported the victim to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Police later identified the victim as John Garvin, 30, of Brooklyn.
