The alleged founder of a radical network based primarily in Brooklyn has been charged with providing material support to foreign terrorist groups including the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) and Al-Nusrah Front (ANF). Uzbek national Davud Ansariy stands accused of founding the “Tea Party”, a group authorities say financed the travels of aspiring ISIS and ANF fighters or planned to join such groups in Syria.
