Grand Bazaar NYC will bring its curated marketplace to Brooklyn for the first time in its more than 40-year history with A Taste of Grand Bazaar on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Industry City.

The single-day event will run from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at Industry City Courtyard 3/4, 237 36th St. in Sunset Park. Visitors can shop from a selection of independent vendors offering vintage clothing and accessories, wearable art, upcycled fashion, handmade candles, artisan goods and other products.

Participating vendors include Electric Sunshine, Scout & Indiana, Snow Milk, The Strange Hours, Watchmen, Subject Matter LLC, New Objective, Nomad Roasters, Djablo Sauce, Tomoko Igarashi, Bambrey Street Creations LLC, PDLVNTG, EENY EYEWEAR, Artbymesoma LLC, Bessie Nails and Pashmeen.

Grand Bazaar NYC has operated on the Upper West Side since 1985, bringing together nearly 200 independent artisans, vintage dealers, makers and small businesses each Sunday. The market also directs profits to four neighborhood public schools for educational programs and classroom resources.

The Brooklyn pop-up expands that community-focused model to a new borough while connecting Brooklyn shoppers with independent makers and small businesses. Its focus on vintage, handmade and upcycled products also provides an alternative to fast fashion and mass-produced goods.

The event aligns with Industry City's focus on creativity, entrepreneurship and economic development. A Taste of Grand Bazaar will give Brooklyn residents and visitors an opportunity to discover independent businesses and locally made goods while supporting small businesses and makers.
