Howard Weiss is a Brooklyn-born photographer and contributor reporting from Bergen Beach who first discovered his passion for the lens at John Dewey High School. He has dedicated the better part of his career to public service, working for the government and the USPS, where he personally delivered mail to every single address in the borough. A proud husband and a father, Howard brings a deep-rooted knowledge of Brooklyn’s streets and stories to the BK Reader team.
Fun Fact:
My first time being "published" was in 1986! As a kid, I wrote a fan letter to Marvel Comics about how much I loved the Care Bears series. They actually printed my letter in Care Bears #7 as part of the Marvel 25th Anniversary Star Comics line.
