Haiti Cultural Exchange (HCX) is inviting the community to a night of music, memory and movement as it prepares to say goodbye to its longtime home in Crown Heights.
The nonprofit will host a benefit concert on Sunday, June 29, featuring acclaimed Haitian artist Paul Beaubrun and special guests, marking the end of nearly 15 years of cultural programming in the space that is now shuttering.
Beaubrun, who recently toured with Arcade Fire and released his latest album LIMYÈ A LA, brings a deep musical legacy as a member of the Boukman Eksperyans family. DJ Serge Negri will keep the energy high throughout the evening with his signature mix of Haitian fusion beats.
The farewell concert is more than a sendoff, it’s a rallying point for HCX’s next chapter. Proceeds will help fund the organization's future home, a new cultural hub dedicated to Haitian arts and heritage in New York City.
Tickets range from $50 in advance to $120 for supporting donors. Doors open at 5:00pm, with festivities continuing into the night. The evening will celebrate everything HCX has built in the community and what lies ahead.
