A housing lottery has opened for 65 rent-stabilized apartments at 1832 Fulton St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, according to Brick Underground.

Eligible households earning between $68,126 and $198,510 annually can apply, depending on household size. Monthly rents start at $1,819 for a studio.

The Milano is an 11-story, mixed-use development with studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The units are designated for households earning between 70 percent and 130 percent of the area median income.

The available apartments include 23 one-bedroom units renting for $2,240 a month for households earning between $83,383 and $122,160.

The lottery provides another opportunity for eligible New Yorkers to seek rent-stabilized housing in Brooklyn. Such apartments are subject to rules governing rent increases and lease renewals, offering tenants protections under New York's rent stabilization system. The developers have reserved 20 percent of the apartments for applicants who already live in the surrounding area.

The building includes a rooftop terrace, shared laundry facilities, a gym, a package room and coworking space. Pets weighing up to 30 pounds are permitted without a pet deposit, according to the listing. The development is near the Ralph Avenue and Utica Avenue subway stations, and a Citi Bike kiosk is located across the street.

Additional apartment preferences apply to eligible New York City employees and veterans, who are allocated 10 percent of the apartments, as well as applicants with mobility, vision or hearing needs, who are allocated 5 percent.

Applications must be submitted online through NYC Housing Connect by Oct. 23, 2026.

Interested applicants should review the official listing to confirm eligibility, household income limits and application requirements. Applicants should submit only one application for the development, as duplicate applications may result in disqualification.
