1. Weather: Winter Storm Marcus will continue to spread snow and some ice from the eastern Great Lakes into the Northeast, including a mixture of freezing rain and snow overnight through Monday Night. 2. Parking: New York City Alternate Side Parking #NYCASP rules are in suspended on Monday, February 9, to facilitate snow removal. Meters will remain in effect.

3. The next Rabbit Moon CSA pickup is this Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 334 Marcus Garvey Blvd., until 7:30pm. Pickups Continue every Tuesday until March 31st 2015.

4. This week, there are three important meetings this week happening in Crown Heights:

  • Monday, February 9, 7:30pm-- 77th Precinct Community Council Meeting, St Matthew R.C.C, 1345 Lincoln Place 4th Floor (Utica Ave-Schenectady Ave)
  • Tuesday, February 10, 11:00am-- 77th Precinct Clergy Council Meet, Muster Room, 127 Utica Avenue, (Bergen St - St.Marks Ave)
  • Thursday, February 12, 7:00pm-- Community Board 8 Meeting,  Weeksville Heritage Center, 158 Buffalo Avenue, (c/of St Marks Ave)

5. On Tuesday, February 10 at 6pm, Brooklyn Borough Hall will hold a discussion on modern-

day sex trafficking.  The event is held in partnership with the Junior League of Brooklyn and an esteemed panel, including Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo, a representative of Safe Horizon, and others. For information, click here.

6. On Thursday, February 12, at 7:00pm, The Brooklyn Museum will hold "In Conversation:  Brooklyn Renaissance with Spike Lee, Kehinde Wiley, and Tatyana Fazlalizadeh" at theIris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Fl. Tickets are sold out. A limited number of tickets will be available at the Visitor Center on the day of the program. Free for Museum Members. But if you have one, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you do have a ticket, be sure to get there early!

7. On Friday, February 13, 4:30-7:00pm, The Brooklyn Museum will hold "Teen Night: Killer Heels" Free with R.S.V.P. at the Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion, 1st Floor-- Planned by teens for teens, this free evening at the Museum is filled with art, friends, food, and fun. Each Teen Night has a theme; in February, activities relate to the exhibition Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe.
