
Police are looking for a man responsible for shooting an elderly man on Saturday in Bed-Stuy.
According to reports, on Saturday, February 1, at around 10:40pm, a man was shot in the hand in front of 402 Hancock Street, between Throop and Marcus Garvey Blvd. The perpetrator ran eastbound down Hancock Street following the shooting.
The victim was a pediatric patient and was taken to Kings County Hospital and treated in fair condition.
The perpetrator is described as a black man, approximately 5 foot 9 inches, wearing a black coat and all black clothing.
Police are investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made.
