Filthy Flats, a new restaurant located in Downtown Brooklyn, recently debuted its expansive menu of several delicious flatbread offerings to the public.

The restaurant, in an effort to reinvent sandwiches, has put a more modern spin on the classic food item by serving them open-faced on a flat bagel.

The idea to offer the “perfect” flatbread in Brooklyn came from the restaurant’s owner, Randy Narod, along with his business partner and brother-in-law, Joseph Anzalone.

The duo previously started Long Island Bagel Cafe, a popular New York bagel shop that incorporates a 30-year family recipe that was perfected by Anazlone. Each bagel is hand rolled, boiled, and then flattened to give the baked food items their signature shape.

Filthy Flats utilizes the same crispy and scrumptious bagels for its flatbread menu offerings, receiving the bagels fresh daily from Narod and Anzalone’s bagel factory in Baldwin, New York.

Included on the newly-opened Brooklyn restaurant's menu are quick and affordable sandwich options that are perfect for all meals throughout the day, according to a Filthy Flats release.

Early risers can enjoy the restaurant’s breakfast items, which include a classic Egg and Cheese, and the more exotic Feta Avocado, to name a few.

Other flatbread options that can be enjoyed all day for lunch or dinner include the Chicken Salad Sandwich, the Filthy Reuben, Korean BBQ Short Rib, as well as a variety of pizza-inspired flatbreads to round out the savory offerings.

Brooklynites that have more of a sweet tooth can indulge in the restaurant’s numerous flat desserts — all served on a flat rainbow bagel — which includes the Nutella-topped Nutty S’more, the fruity Strawberry Cheesecake, along with a chocolatey and decadent dessert cannoli.

Residents can try Filthy Flats’ unique flatbread sandwiches either in-store or have them delivered (either through the restaurant or via major delivery app services).
