Two menorahs sponsored by Chabad of Sunset Park were vandalized and stolen in Sunset Park. The first menorah was vandalized at 5th Ave on December 5 and the second menorah was stolen from its location in the park on Dec. 6.
The Chabad of Sunset Park is currently accepting donations on GoFundMe to replace the menorahs. "Such acts of hatred and destruction are deeply distressing, especially during the Festival of Lights. In times like these, it is crucial that we respond with hope and resilience," said the post.
The fundraiser has currently received $408 of its $3,500 goal.
