Housing Lottery Announced for Property in Prospect Heights

Applications are now being accepted on NYC Housing Connect for 240 affordable units at TF Cornerstone’s brand-new rental building, 595 Dean St.

The building will feature a total of 798 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom rentals to the master-planned Pacific Park development in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, which to date includes 3,200 apartments, including 1,374 affordable homes built since the opening of the Barclays Center in 2012.

Residents of 595 Dean St. have access to a rooftop swimming pool, sundeck, BBQ grills, lounges for play and TFC’s Homework co-working lounges for study, as well as private conference rooms, a screening room, an arcade-style game room, a children’s playroom, a cardio fitness room, a dog grooming space with third party concierge services offered by Throw Me A Bone, and a brand new Chelsea Piers Fitness and Chelsea Piers Field House. 

There are currently 240 units for residents earning 130% of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $78,515 to $187,330. Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than July 3. Those who qualify can visit HousingConnect.nyc.gov to apply through the online portal or to get information about how to apply via mail.
