A youth coordination officer was pummeled and spit on by an 18-year-old student inside a Brooklyn high school Tuesday afternoon, police and law enforcement sources said. The student pushed one officer as police spoke to him around 2 p.m. at Brooklyn Academy High School, and then as authorities tried to detain him, the teenager lashed out — spitting, punching and kicking another officer multiple times, police said.
