A worker was fatally stabbed inside an East New York deli by an irate customer Friday evening, according to police. A store worker mentioned that the “irate customer” walked into the deli located at 684 Hegeman Ave. and wanted to buy cigarettes. When informed that the store did not sell cigarettes, the customer threw a debit card reader at a cashier and left. A few minutes later, the customer returned with a knife and charged the deli counter. More on this from AMNY.
