Woman's Life Hangs in The Balance After Being Hit by MTA Bus in Brooklyn

The woman is receiving medical treatment at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

A woman in Brooklyn clings to life on Sunday after she was hit by an MTA bus, authorities said. According to police sources, a 23-year-old woman was departing from a westbound B41 bus on Nevins and Livingston Streets in downtown Brooklyn at around 12:18pm on May 5 when tragedy struck. Sources said the commuter apparently crossed in front of the bus just as a second B41 approached from behind, striking her as the driver pulled the rig in.
