Woman Struck by MTA Bus in Coney Island

The driver remained on the scene until the police arrived.

Police are investigating a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian that was struck by an MTA bus in Coney Island. According to the NYPD, a 70-year-old woman was struck at the intersection of Stillwell and Mermaid Avenues at 2 pm. The B68 bus, operated by a 45-year-old man, was traveling southbound on Stillwell Avenue and was making a left turn onto Mermaid Avenue when the bus collided with the victim. The 70-year-old woman suffered a leg injury and was taken to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition. Click here to read more on brooklyn.news12.com.
