Woman Arrested in MTA Worker Attack

A transit union representative told News 12 that the victim is extremely distraught and concerned about the long-term effects.

A woman is under arrest in connection with an attack on an MTA agent last month. Police charged Ayizhae Thomas with assault, acting in a manner injurious to a child, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. The 24-year-old is one of two women accused of beating up Marshalee Reid on June 28 after police say Reid confronted them for not paying their fare at the New Lots subway station. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
