Woman Arrested in Connection to January Fatal Car Crash in East New York

Megan Martin was arrested on Wednesday following a police investigation and was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian, and failure to exercise due care, cops said.

A woman driver who fatally struck a 57-year-old pedestrian in Brooklyn in January has been arrested— three months after the deadly crash, police said. Megan Martin, 30, was driving a Nissan Pathfinder eastbound on Blake Avenue and attempting to make a left turn onto Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York when she barrelled into Janet Henriquez, who was crossing the street shortly before 9:00am on Jan. 24, according to police.
