Two Indicted in Death of 3-Year-Old Brooklyn Boy

What began as an assault case has escalated into a murder indictment following months of investigation into the death of a Brooklyn toddler.

A Brooklyn grand jury has handed up an indictment charging two people with murder and related offenses in the death of 3-year-old Kyng Davis, according to Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez. The defendants, Robert White, 39 and Sunshyne Davis, 25, face charges of second-degree murder, second-degree manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child. Davis appeared before Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Donald Leo on Wednesday and was ordered held without bail. She is due back in court July 31. More on this from BK Reader.
