Three Borough Park Buildings Evacuated Amid Safety Concerns

The Red Cross assisted twelve adults and four children from three families.

The city evacuated three buildings Sunday night in Brooklyn due to an unstable façade. More than a dozen people were relocated by the Red Cross. "I'm very cold. I don't feel good. I'm a very sick woman. I'm four hours outside," resident Anette Cory said. Frustration was boiling Sunday outside three buildings on 13th Avenue near the Corner of 42nd Street in Borough Park. The FDNY said they recieved a call just before noon for an unstable façade at the three-story buildings and they were evacuated as a precaution. Click here to read more on
