The NYPD is searching for a man wanted for assaulting an elderly man. Police say it happened after 3:50pm on Monday afternoon in front of a deli on Brighton Beach Avenue. Detectives say he punched the 70-year-old victim in the face before running off. First responders took the victim to a hospital, where he is in stable condition. “This is a problem for us and a problem for all the people around here,” said Andy, a worker at Big Bazaar across the street.
