A teenage boy was hospitalized after he fell from an “elevated position” while attempting to subway surf in Brooklyn on Saturday, police said. Officers responded to a 911 call at the Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street subway station in Park Slope at about 1:30 pm. The 14-year-old boy was riding a F line subway car, authorities said. The teen was conscious and alert, police said. He was transported to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The teen was expected to survive his injuries, officials said.
