A 17-year-old boy was arrested for the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man on Mother’s Day in Brownsville. The shooting happened back on May 10 at 375 Blake Ave., just after 3:00pm when Quah’mir Cruz was shot in the chest. He was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police say the suspect is facing charges for murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
