Teen Arrested For Allegedly Shooting at Brownsville Stores

The teen faces charges of attempted murder, two counts of attempted assault, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

Police in Brooklyn have arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly shooting into a strip of stores in February. Officers arrested the teen, whose name is being withheld due to his age, on Tuesday, May 7, at approximately 3:50pm within the confines of the 67th Precinct, saying he was responsible for the barrage of bullets that went through a busy commercial corridor located at Rutland Road and E. 98th Street in Brownsville on Monday, Feb. 12, at approximately 5:35pm.
