Six People Sustain Minor Injuries in Brooklyn Church Fire

There were 150 congregants inside the Williamsburg church. Three civilians and 3 firefighters sustained minor injuries.

A fire broke out at a church in Brooklyn on Easter Sunday during mass with over 100 people inside, according to officials. The five-alarm fire at Our Lady of the Rosary Pompeii on Seigel Street did not affect the church and was in the rectory area, according to the FDNY. Three firefighters and three civilians have minor injuries. Several fire crews were working to control the fire about three hours after it broke out.
