A suitcase containing $120,000 of jewelry was stolen from a car in Sheepshead Bay and police are searching for three men who they say are responsible. The theft happened Jan. 14, just before 8:00pm, near Avenue U and East 26th Street. Authorities say the men broke into the car by shattering the driver's side window, snagged the suitcase and took off in a gray Dodge Caravan, heading eastbound on Avenue U.
