DVDs might not be flying off the shelves these days, but that didn’t stop a man from pulling out a gun in broad daylight to get some, according to police. The robbery happened on Nov. 6 around 2:20pm on Mermaid Avenue near W. 29th Street. Police say the suspect grabbed DVDs from a 39-year-old vendor. When the vendor confronted him, the man pulled out a gun and fired. No one was hurt. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
