Police say a male in his 30s was pulled from the water at Newton Creek in Greenpoint. They say they got a 911 call for a body in the water just before 12:15pm on Thursday afternoon near N. Henry Street and Kingsland Avenue. Police say when they arrived, they found a man appearing to be in his 30s, unconscious and unresponsive and pulled him from the water of Newton Creek, where he was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.
