Police are now investigating the cause of death of a man found floating and unresponsive off the coast of Coney Island Creek near Seagate around 9:44am on Thursday. NYPD Harbormaster Units located the body. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene. His body was transferred to the Office of the Medical Examiner to determine how he died. The discovery marks the third time this month that a body has been found in the water. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
