On-Duty MTA Worker Attacked with Umbrella at Brooklyn Subway Station, Police Say

The victim was taken to Wyckoff Hospital in stable condition.

An on-duty MTA employee was taken to the hospital following an attack inside a subway station in Brooklyn on Sunday. The incident happened around 9:35pm inside the Myrtle Avenue and Wyckoff Avenue subway station. Police say the 53-year-old victim was stationed on the lower mezzanine when an unknown individual approached her and hit her twice in the head with an umbrella.
