NYPD: Man Shot in The Face in Bed-Stuy

The motive of the shooting is under police investigation.

Brooklyn detectives are looking for the suspect who shot a man in the face early on Saturday morning. Police said the gun violence erupted at about 3:21 am on April 13 at the corner of Lewis Avenue and Pulaski Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Officers from the 81st Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the incident, found the victim, a 66-year-old man, with a gunshot wound to his right cheek. Based on a preliminary investigation, police determined that the man had been attacked by an unidentified suspect known to him.
