Police said a 2-month-old infant died after being found unconscious in a Brownsville apartment on Friday. According to the NYPD, officers responded to the apartment at 275 Mother Gaston Blvd. at around 8:30am. Officials said they discovered scalding-hot water in the apartment and burns on the baby. One source said that the parents were not home, and that they have another child who is 2-years-old. “It’s heartbreaking cause I have a baby I have kids, too and it’s crazy,” said Brownsville resident Eli Vega.
