Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate two separate, deadly shootings in Brooklyn and Queens on Sunday that appear to be gang-related, sources familiar with the investigation said.
The search is on for the suspect who gunned down a 30-year-old man in front of a home on a Queens block early on the morning of Oct. 3.
Roberto Borrego, 30, of Lefferts Boulevard in Kew Gardens was found shot multiple times in the torso and the back in front of a home on 85th Avenue off Chapin Parkway, across the street from Captain Tilly Park, at about 7:25 a.m. Sunday morning.
