A 35-year-old MTA bus operator was arrested and charged on Tuesday, months after striking and killing an elderly man. The 87-year-old man was walking in the crosswalk on Avenue Z back in June when he was hit by the bus operated by Andre Reid, just blocks from his home. EMS quickly arrived and brought the victim, Semen Givant, to a hospital to address his critical injuries, which he tragically could not overcome. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
