A mother and her 8-year-old son were injured when a school bus hit them on a Brooklyn sidewalk Wednesday morning, officials and sources said. The incident happened close to an elementary school near Bedford Avenue and Farragut Road in Flatbush at around 8:30am, according to the FDNY. The 43-year-old woman was dropping the boy off at school when they were struck on the sidewalk. A yellow bus jumped the curb and hit the victims before crashing into the fence of the Cortelyou Early Childhood Center, police said. Click here to read more on pix11.com.
