Police are searching for a man who they say stole a cellphone and then went on a shopping spree. They say the suspect approached another man near Stewart Avenue and Meserole Street in East Williamsburg around 2:00am on Sept. 4. The suspect then snatched the victim's phone and took off. Authorities say a few hours later, the man used the victim's credit card, which was linked to the cellphone, to make multiple purchases. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
