One man is dead and another man is in the hospital after a stabbing in Brooklyn early Sunday morning, according to police. Officials said NYPD officers were called to 1071 Broadway in Bushwick at around 1:45am on Sunday for a reported assault. Officers found a 26-year-old, identified as Amare Simmons, with a stab wound to his midsection and a slash wound to his face. Another man, 28, has a slash wound to his arm, police said. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where Simmons was pronounced dead, according to police. More on this from Pix 11.
