A man is recovering after being slashed with a machete in Sunset Park, and the people responsible have not been caught. This happened just after 4:00pm on Monday outside a building on 5th Avenue. A 34-year-old man was on the sidewalk when he was slashed in the back during some kind of dispute. A police source says the weapon used was a machete. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
