A 27-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot while sitting in his car in East Flatbush early Monday, police said. The shooting happened around 3:20am outside 980 Rutland Road. Police said the man was shot once on the left side of his head. Paramedics took him to Brookdale Hospital. The street was still blocked off later in the morning as investigators worked at the scene.
